The Dash That Tells Your Life Story

If you're not doing something with your life, then it doesn't matter how long you live. If you're doing something with your life, then it doesn't matter how short your life may be. A life is not measured by years lived, but by its usefulness. If you are giving, loving, serving, helping, encouraging, and adding value to others, then you're living a life that counts! I am reminded of job and the life he led God expected something from him and he had to be brought to a place of surrender to give it to him. Ask yourself what is it that God wants from me and am I truly giving it to him. Job said that he wanted to be defined by his grave stone and that little dash in between the dates tells your life story from the time you were born till the time you die what will yours tell about you.
